Warm those toes at the Temple Bar Trad Fest in Dublin

The temperature has dropped again this week – icy winds and frozen fog have most of us running home on these cold winter evenings. But next week the Temple Bar Trad Fest offers Dubliners an alternative way to keep warm. Tap those toes and clap those hands as the cream of Irish traditional musicians perform jigs and reels at a series of concerts, ceilis and sessions.

Dance classes and workshops will be on offer throughout the festival for those who want to get active, but there’s plenty of Irish culture to be found just enjoying a pint of Guinness in one of historic Temple Bar’s famous pubs and soaking up the atmosphere.

Add to the experience with a taste of authentic Irish hospitality at O’Neill’s Victorian Pub and Townhouse at the heart of Dublin city centre. Established in 1885, the guest rooms at this traditional inn have been carefully restored and furnished in keeping with the history of the building. All rooms are en-suite and a full Irish breakfast is included in the rates.
