The Wake n Bacon – making mornings easier!

There are few noises less welcome than the intrusive ringing of an alarm clock. Whether it’s the metallic clang of an old-fashioned bell, an incessant electronic beeping or an annoying tune on your mobile phone, they all signify the end of your peaceful slumber and, usually, the the start of a hard day’s work.

Surely there has to be a better way to wake up each morning. Some try using gradual light to wake them in a more natural, less stressful manner, but the geniuses at www.mathlete.com have come up with a far better way: the Wake n Bacon.

Sure to become more popular than the Teasmade, the Wake n Bacon works on the premise that the gentle sizzling and the irresistible smell of bacon cooking will make anyone glad to wake up in the morning.

Simply place a slice of frozen bacon in the contraption the night before and, 10 minutes before your desired wake-up time, two halogen lamps will begin to slow-cook the meat, meaning you wake up to a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast.

For all the vegetarians out there, here are a few smells we thought might work just as well:

– Freshly baked bread

– Homemade biscuits

– Pancakes
