Congratulations to the award-winning Sandyhills B&B in Dublin!

Huge congratulations are in order for one of our Dublin B&Bs this week. Sandyhills B&B in Rush, County Dublin, is the proud recipient of AA Ireland’s esteemed ‘Bean an Ti’ award.

The award, which recognises exceptional commitment and hard work by a proprietor, was picked up by Mary Buckley, the B&B’s owner. Although Ms Buckley is a relative newcomer to the tourism industry,  she is an experienced home runner and feels that applying these skills in a professional capacity is a “simple progression and the real secret to making guests at Sandyhills feel right at home”.

Ms Buckley is an adept baker and has attended a number of culinary classes, including a chocolate-making course in Germany. The AA hospitality awards are among the most prestigious in Ireland.

If you’re planning a trip to Dublin and woul’d like a taste Mary’s award-winning hospitality, check out Sandyhills B&B at BedandBreakfastworld.com.

Congratulations to Mary on her most deserved award.
As a world traveller, I can say without any reservations Mary is the most wonderful hostess I have ever encountered.

I arrived in Rush to visit my relatives and left there, feeling my family had grown to include Mary and her son.

    Once again congratulations xx

Thanks, John – we have passed on your comments to Mary, who I’m sure will be delighted to hear them!
