The Big Breakfast Debate

October 19, 2010 at 2:28 pm Leave a comment

This is one for the British Isles, but breakfast lovers the world over are free to join in…

Let’s talk breakfast. Full English, Full Irish, Full Scottish, Full Welsh – is there really a difference in what ends up on your plate, or is it just a case of where you are when you’re eating it?

Sausage, bacon and egg we can all agree on, but after that it gets a bit hazy. Does it need to have beans to be fully English, and will you really be served haggis for breakfast in Scotland? And what about the Ulster Fry? Most importantly, which is best?!

Do you tuck into a full breakfast while you’re away, or do you shun the good old fry up and stick with cereal? Leave us a comment below to let us know, or find us on Facebook to tempt us with pictures of your perfect breakfast, whatever it consists of!
